Group Link is an opportunity to meet others at CBC in a similar life-stage and geography for the purpose of forming a new community group! After attending Group Link, you will be placed in a community group based on your availability and preferences (night of the week, geography, people you met, etc.). Our next two-part Group Link class will be September 25th and October 2nd, 2022 from 10:00-11:15am in CENTRAL. You can expect a morning of fun in a relaxed environment, while learning more about what a healthy and strong community group looks like. Registration is required. Click Join Group to register. This group seeks to bring military members and their families together in community as we seek to do life together while stationed in San Antonio. Being in community with other believers that can also personally relate to military life is invaluable.

Michael and Shannon Thieme were called to adopt their daughter, Mia, nine years ago and in doing so began a rollercoaster journey of caring for a child with special needs. They have experienced the feelings of isolation not uncommon to this community, but have also personally witnessed the life-giving beauty of a gospel-centered community. If you are a parent of a special needs child and have longed to connect with others who understand, Michael and Shannon invite you to join them for a meal, some laughter, maybe a few healing tears and many prayers to a faithful God who loves you and cherishes your faithful service and sacrifice as you care for your child. We understand that every family's childcare needs are different so we ask that you arrange your own childcare specialized to your child's needs so this can be a restful space for you.
