Care & Support - The Landing

The Landing is a ministry geared towards Junior High and high school students. The Landing provides a safe place for our students to process life and the struggles that accompany it, offers tools to help them live emotionally and spiritually healthy lives, and points them toward the freedom found in Jesus Christ. A typical night in the Landing will consist of a student's connection with the leaders, God, Biblical truths, recovery principles, and fellowship with each other. Through the Landing, our students can find a safe place to find help, hope, and healing through engaging the recovery principles and growing in relationship with Jesus Christ. Ultimately, this ministry can help students learn how to break cycles of dysfunction and provide tools for them to live free and healthy lives. This volunteer opportunity is approximately 1-4 hours commitment per week to help facilitate a group to encourage and support those seeking freedom from their struggles. There are 2 opportunities to volunteer in The Landing. One is for CBC members who have completed the Care and Support leadership process and would like to become group leaders. The other is for those who have not completed this leadership process but are interested in volunteering. We will provide training if you have not completed the leadership requirements and are interested in leading groups. Contact us to start the process.
